Dr. Lesley Kemp Studer was born and brought up in Scotland. In 1992, she graduated as a Dental Surgeon from Glasgow University and completed a residency in Oral Surgery and Advanced Restorative Techniques before joining a prestigious private practice in Hamilton. In 1996 she moved to Switzerland, where she worked in a pediatric dental clinic and started to learn about alternative healing methods, such as acupuncture, homeopathy, herbal medicine and food sensitivity testing, both as a patient and in postgraduate courses of study.

Astounded by the success of these alternative techniques, she determined to learn more, which led her to the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, where she graduated in 2003 as a Naturopathic Doctor, with added certification in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (including Chinese herbs). While in Toronto, she studied Craniosacral Therapy with world-renowned Upledger teacher, Robert Harris and gained certification for this in 2002. From 2004 onwards, she has studied N.A.E.T. with Dr. Devi Nambudripad in Los Angeles. This is an allergy desensitisation technique which is useful for reactions to all types of substances, including pollens and pets.

After graduating from CCNM, she moved to British Columbia, where she studied for her licensing exams on Mayne Island and fell in love with the West Coast. Her plans to go back to Europe and combine Naturopathic Medicine with Dentistry slowly changed as she settled into life in Vancouver with her husband and discovered that Naturopathic Medicine is her true vocation. She now lives on the North Shore, where she enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Dr. Kemp Studer has a very gentle approach to patient care, blending knowledge from cutting-edge medical research and wisdom from traditional healing techniques, to enhance recovery from health challenges and provide preventive patient care.
